    • Our Westerley cardigan has been a hit since we introduced it in the 80s, and reintroduced it in the "aughts". The Pendleton Original Westerley sweater was introduced as part of a western-wear line back in 1972. Awesome fit, far out One question: what is the button in the collar for?
    This revival Westerley generated an enormous amount of publicity, especially since the sweater worn by Jeff Bridges in the movie was going to auction. Suggestions? In 2014 we added another archival coloration in charcoal and blue. The Dude Cardigan was not an exact replica. These sold well to the fashion crowd, but didn't satisfy The Big Lebowski fans. We scoured the archives and studied the movie, bringing the Westerley back to its original color and weight — even the ring zipper pull has been restored. This sweater, however, was almost comically short in length, with the body even more of an issue than the arms.
